Simon Tanguy performe ce solo en français depuis 2016. Étudiant au sndo d'Amsterdam, il a rencontré Jeanine Durning durant ses études. La performance inging a été montrée dans de multiples lieux : plateaux de théâtre, ateliers, salle de classe, festival de danse, festival d'Avignon, rencontres universitaires. L'enjeu de ce travail est de sortir du langage en parlant sans pause, toujours en changeant de sujet. Le texte n'est ni écrit, ni improvisé. L'acte de parler est très préparé en amont. Cette tentative de sortie du langage est vouée à l'échec. Mais la persistance de la consigne, celle de ne jamais se taire, crée la performativité de cette pratique. La performance se déplace vers un pari sportif, une confession, une conférence philosophique, un stand-up. The performance inging has been shown in many places: theater stages, workshops, classrooms, dance festival, Avignon festival, university meetings. The challenge of this work is to get out of the language by talking without a break, always changing the subject. The text is neither written nor improvised. The act of speaking is very well prepared beforehand. This attempt to get out of the language is doomed to failure. But the persistence of the instruction, that of never remaining silent, creates the performativity of this practice. The performance moves towards a conference a sports bet, a confession, a stand-up.
