Le présent article a pour objectif de mettre en exergue les spécificités de ces volumes, dus à la plume de George Chastelain, Jean Molinet, Enguerrand de Monstrelet et Olivier de la Marche. De même qu’ils traduisent l’intérêt durable du lectorat régional pour ce type de récit, ces témoins permettent de rendre compte, plus largement, des modalités de diffusion d’un tel corpus, qui, grâce aux soins attentifs des copistes et des premiers éditeurs, a été transmis à la postérité. The collection of the Municipal Library of Lille, whether manuscripts or old printed books, contains an appreciable number of works fully representative of the historiographical production which flourished throughout the 15th century at the court of Burgundy. The aim of this article is to highlight the specificities of these volumes, written by George Chastelain, Jean Molinet, Enguerrand de Monstrelet and Olivier de la Marche. L’on se propose d’examiner ici ces visages contrastés de l’Honneur femenin à la lumière de quelques textes encore trop méconnus. If the literature of Burgundy is expressly inscribed in the courtly tradition which deeply marks the french lyricism of the autumn of the Middle Ages, it is also marked in depth by a didactic and moralizing vein which readily stigmatizes the frivolity of courtly play, while that many works emanating from this crucible are, moreover, part of the “galanterie souriante” (Daniel Poirion) which flourished at the court of the “Grand Duc d’Occident”.
