L’on se propose d’examiner ici ces visages contrastés de l’Honneur femenin à la lumière de quelques textes encore trop méconnus. If the literature of Burgundy is expressly inscribed in the courtly tradition which deeply marks the french lyricism of the autumn of the Middle Ages, it is also marked in depth by a didactic and moralizing vein which readily stigmatizes the frivolity of courtly play, while that many works emanating from this crucible are, moreover, part of the “galanterie souriante” (Daniel Poirion) which flourished at the court of the “Grand Duc d’Occident”.
