      <title>L’exposition comme collectif</title>
      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/demeter/1163</link>
Scattered on the ground, the multiple fans of Fans (gisants) (O. Porry, 2020) twist as visitors pass by. Above them, the printed and sculpted plates of Statues-Camions (V. Vaysse, 2020) hang from the ceiling, moving and positioning themselves in space. The movements of the fans attract the viewer's attention while the plates activate, stop and reorient them. These two works, designed to manifest their own unity, unfold in the exhibition « Vrais totems, faux mysticismes » (September 2020, Un singe en hiver, Dijon) as a complete device. Independently of each other, the two installations meet the criteria of a specific type of artistic device: collectives of co-located and communicating behavioral objects (COCO²). Each installation deploys its own sets of individual and collective behaviors that circumscribe a physical space, but also an informational and invisible space: a network on which their elements exchange and which overlays the real space. In a curatorial process that revolves around the encounter of these two COCO², the exhibition takes the form of a system of effective relationships. Placing these two installations in the same space and setting up a common network, pave the way to new conditions for experiencing the exhibition through an extended relational dynamic between the two groups. Developed by the two exhibiting artists, the curatorial gesture integrates technique and becomes programmatic. It is co-constructed with the elements of the installations, developing in feedback loops that bring together scenography, behavioral expressiveness, and data transmission. « Vrais totems, faux mysticismes » is thus an experimental practice of curation. It testifies to the possible interoperability of digital artistic practices and calls for other modes of exhibition and creation from the perspective of collective experiences of the collective form. </description>
