How can we acknowledge both the existence of diverse symbolic identities that determine us, and our freedom, that gives us the possibility of communicating and sharing a common world, or a common sense? The paper examines this problem in the light of Marc Richir’s phenomenology (1943-2015), and the developments he devotes to the “symbolic” and its socio-political dimension, insisting, on the one hand, on the specificity of the phenomenological perspective – as opposed to the approaches in social sciences – and, secondly, by showing that such a “common sense” is only conceivable, from this point of view, as the indeterminate universality of the phenomenality of the social, whose status is as much utopian as it is critical. The issue at stake is to know under what concrete conditions this form of universality is possible, and to examine how contemporary phenomenology can contribute to this reflection.

In the shaping of a philosophy that may deal with the issue of contingent facts and engage in praxis and moral theory, Anders tackles the technical phenomena of the present age, and he tries to provide a description, placing himself in a critical perspective. However, the description of the technical phenomena doesn't exclude an ontological approach: required to avoid technique's reduction to a mere set of means and tools, this approach may also assess the transformation of the meaning of being and appearance, in the light of the primacy recently acquired by products, images and reproductions. From the analysis of Anders' method of exaggeration and through a study of appearing, visibility and their limits, this paper will thus investigate, following Anders' conviction, the possibility of a critical perspective in front of contemporary phenomena. Opposing itself to technical ontology, as well as to Heidegger's ontology, the critique may lead to a changement in the way to ask the question of being.

In this article the author reconsiders the husserlian conception of intentionality within the framework of immanence and transcendence. Beginning with an analysis of the transmission of the concept of intentionality from Brentano to Husserl, the author tries to show in which way the following “transcendental turn” generates different understandings of immanence and transcendence. It will thus turn out that only a consideration of the interdependency between these different understandings of immanence and transcendence will give access to a truly phenomenological understanding of intentionality. The subsequent analysis of Husserl’s reflections on immanent and pre-immanent time consciousness will then furnish new understandings of immanence and transcendence that will complicate the mentioned interdependency between these two.

Which place could we give to the memory within the husserlian phenomenology ? Concerning the husserlian approach of the intuitive presentifications, we could easily claim that it exists a connection unifying together the phenomena of consciousness of the picture, the memory and the Phantasia. Husserl develops varied filiations between these phenomena. On the one hand, Husserl brings together the picture consciousness and the Phantasia. On the other hand, he brings closer the memory and the Phantasia. More precisely, Husserl seems to understand the memory inside the scope of the Phantasia, even if we could be tempted to understand it as a kind of perception. In this way, Husserl confers to the memory the picture’s character. In this paper, our aim is to interrogate this husserlian assumption. In such way, we will answer to this question: how the memory’s problem tracks us to a reflection about the husserlian definition of the picture ?
