A photograph of a fang mask from Gabon has meanings, senses, signifiers as well as social and cognitive representations. But most of all the chosen object as support of the speech of the two also chosen subjects, represents a way to explore the unconscious of both our volunteers whether they have anthropological knowledge about the mask or not. Our first presupposition consists in comparing the two speeches and they can reveal similar lexical fields in their discourses. The assessment of resistances of the analysis of the first participant and of projections of family figures in the mask for the second one appears. These revelations are implied in the psychoanalysis, in the triangular relations between the participant, the picture of the mask and the hearer.

Which place could we give to the memory within the husserlian phenomenology ? Concerning the husserlian approach of the intuitive presentifications, we could easily claim that it exists a connection unifying together the phenomena of consciousness of the picture, the memory and the Phantasia. Husserl develops varied filiations between these phenomena. On the one hand, Husserl brings together the picture consciousness and the Phantasia. On the other hand, he brings closer the memory and the Phantasia. More precisely, Husserl seems to understand the memory inside the scope of the Phantasia, even if we could be tempted to understand it as a kind of perception. In this way, Husserl confers to the memory the picture’s character. In this paper, our aim is to interrogate this husserlian assumption. In such way, we will answer to this question: how the memory’s problem tracks us to a reflection about the husserlian definition of the picture ?
