      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/mosaique/3010</link>
Drawing on the current debate surrounding the concept of “humanism,” this paper aims to examine certain essays published by Horkheimer in the 1930s, in which the program of a critical theory of society provides the foundation for a “new” concept of humanism. With this in mind, it is first important to identify the specific characteristics of Horkheimer’s humanism without neglecting the Marxist roots of his approach. </description>
