    L’adaptation au changement climatique est une nécessité, au même titre que la diminution des émissions de gaz à effet de serre. Depuis 2001, l’Observatoire national sur les effets du réchauffement climatique rassemble et diffuse les informations sur les effets du changement climatique et pilote la mise en place de l’adaptation en France. Une stratégie nationale a été adoptée en 2006, survie par une analyse des impacts du changement climatique et des coûts associés qui pourraient s’élever à plusieurs milliards d’euros par an à la fin du siècle. Précédé par une vaste concertation qui a impliqué les parties prenantes du Grenelle environnement, le Plan national d’adaptation a été publié à la mi-2011. Il concerne tous les secteurs d’activité et de nombreux domaines. Il comporte plus de 80 actions concrètes qui permettront d’engager la France à s’adapter à la nouvelle donne climatique.

    Adaptation to climate change is a necessity, as well as reducing emissions of greenhouse gases. Since 2001, the National Observatory on the effects of global warming gathers and disseminates news in the effects of climate change and drive implementation of adaptation in France. A national strategy was adopted in 2006, followed by an analysis of the impacts of climate change and associated costs that could amount to several billion euros per year at the end of the century. Preceded by extensive consultation that involved stakeholders Grenelle Environment the National Adaption Plan was published in mid-2011. It covers all sectors and many areas. He has more than 80 concrete actions that will commit France to adapt to the new climate.
