      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/pollutionatmospherique/1527</link>
Itinerant measurements of CO rate and wind were realized in the Sfax agglomeration. They are used in complement of hourly CO, NOX and SO2 data recorded by the National Agency of the Environment Protection (ANPE) station. The highest CO rates appear in the southern industrial area (El Maou) where we find many factories emitting great pollutants quantities like the Industrial Company of Phosphoric Acid and Manures (SIAPE) and the municipal discharge where the garbage are burned in free air. During sea-land breeze days and particularly at the night shift (between 8 pm and midnight), the emissions fall down on the very crowded quarters located in the south of the agglomeration and around the downtown area. CO rates are very high during the peak periods of the road traffic especially in the downtown area and particularly when the wind is weak. </description>
