L'application de cette norme aux appareils de type Lidar pose des problèmes méthodologiques particuliers pour lesquels une solution adaptée a pu être trouvée. L'évaluation du Lidar Elight 510 M a ainsi pu être réalisée avec SO2 comme polluant. Les résultats ont été satisfaisants.
