      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/pollutionatmospherique/5286</link>
This paper explores in part the commitment for the climate of religious and spiritual actors and its theological foundations. The most recent visibility of this action, mainly due to the publication of the encyclical of Pope Francis Laudato Si and its global media coverage, is inversely proportional to the knowledge gathered by social sciences. Because of the fact that this field remains largely to be explored, the paper refrains from any generalizing remarks and rather proposes focuses which orientation originates in the author’s situation, himself a field actor, as Climate Justice Advocacy Officer of the Lutheran World Federation. It appears that the action of religious and spiritual actors, founded in the theology of each tradition, is diverse. In the view of COP21 in particular, millennial spiritual practises like prayer, fasting, pilgrimage and meditation are called upon and adapted to the challenge posed by climate changes. </description>
