      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/pollutionatmospherique/5700</link>
The agroforestry plays a significant role in the new plan of adaptation of France to the climate change. In metropolitan France, traditional agroforestry (bocage landscape, meadows and orchards…) is declining, it is necessary to support economic development of trees located out of forests. The modern agroforestry associates trees and cultures on the same parcel. It creates a favorable microclimate which can limit the negative effects of the climate change. For example, it is possible to associate agroforestry and vineyards. On the other hand the contribution of agroforestry to the storage of carbon in the biomass is still badly evaluated. The energy wood production relates more to hedges of the bocage landscape and the timber production (walnut, ash, maple…) relates more to alignments of trees in cultivated fields. </description>
