    <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/pollutionatmospherique/5738</link>
To raise the question of air pollution in relation with agriculture means, at least in France, opening a new round of questions concerning the relationship between agriculture and the environment, but also raises questions about the relationship between air pollution and the environment. We have tried to investigate these topics in a wide way, questioning the social modes which have, according to Testart (1982), allowed agriculture to set in sedentarized and from the start unequal communities, and its very particular statute, legitimizing, through the biological advantages it has brought, a social reality the differentiation of which it has greatly contributed to amplify, which, in return, has led to its submission. Exploring the development of this situation up to the present in the French context, as well as the renewal introduced by the emergence of the environment in the wake of modern empiricism leads to question the double isolation, the enclosing process, social as well as environmental, agriculture has been submitted to, and to think about new ways in the world context of an agricultural transition confronting the challenge of demography as well as of societies’ mutations in terms of development. </description>
