Riassunto
The reading of Kafka's work highlights his attention to architectural language. From "the room" that characterizes The metamorphosis, through the recurrence of "doors" and "windows", architecture becomes one of the principal elements that link narrative representation to the outside world. This is why we propose a cross reading of his work starting from two different but complementary texts: first, Michelle Perrot's Histoire de chambres (Seuil, 2009), then L'Instauration du tableau, Meta-painting at dawn Modern Times (Droz, 1993) by art historian Victor Stoichita.
