Le immagini di Marilyn tra velatezza e denudamento

Una lettura agambiana

DOI : 10.54563/revue-k.398

Riassunto

The aim of this article is a hermeneutical reading of some images by Marilyn Monroe, in the light of Giorgio Agamben's concept of nakedness and beauty. In particular, we will start from the Agambian consideration of nakedness as an infinite operation of stripping, a dual movement of displaying and hiding the body. This idea serves to advance the hypothesis that Marilyn embodies a form of nudity capable of offering a different image of the feminine.
