      <title>L’Altra assoluta</title>
      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/revue-k/1055</link>
<description>The aim of the text is to propose a reading of the Greek tragedy Medea starting from Jacques Derrida's thought. The stakes of this work are not limited to applying some key elements of deconstruction to the figure of Medea. Above all, the essay aims to show how the story of this barbarian woman from Colchis can embody and clarify some fundamental concepts proposed by Derrida to rethink the dimension of the political. Medea is a figure very close to what in Derrida's philosophy is called The Other and her story, narrated by Euripides, gives an idea of the extreme and provocative character that always belongs to absolute hospitality. </description>
