<title>Le ragioni di Elena in Hélène après la chute di Simon Abkarian</title>
      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/revue-k/1472</link>
<description>The article proposes a reflection on the mythical figure of Helen, paying particular attention to the interior dimension of the character, often placed in the background compared to the radiant beauty that characterizes her. In this sense, Simon Abkarian’s play Hélène après la chute (2023) seems to mark a turning point, bringing on stage a self-aware and determined queen, capable of standing up to her husband Menelaus and of opposing her own reasons and rejecting the yoke of unhappiness. </description>
