Starting from this radical question, the article explores and investigates women's everyday practices and tactics of resistance in the domestic space. In particular, the authors analyse how the public representation basically oscillate between a depiction of the migrants into the role of the slave with a “broken back” and the one of slave who needs to “break the chains”.
