<title>Regards croisés. Kafka, le cadre et la chambre</title>
      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/revue-k/261</link>
<description>The reading of Kafka's work highlights his attention to architectural language. From &quot;the room&quot; that characterizes The metamorphosis, through the recurrence of &quot;doors&quot; and &quot;windows&quot;, architecture becomes one of the principal elements that link narrative representation to the outside world. This is why we propose a cross reading of his work starting from two different but complementary texts: first, Michelle Perrot's Histoire de chambres (Seuil, 2009), then L'Instauration du tableau, Meta-painting at dawn Modern Times (Droz, 1993) by art historian Victor Stoichita. </description>
