Médée ou l’expérience de l’étrangeté

This article aims to interpret the myth of Medea as an experience of strangeness based on a nietzschean understanding of the experience. Indeed, Medea is able to disturb our « pulsional configuration », which means shifting the balance power and overturning the way of organizing our human experience. To achieve this, we propose to follow four artistic interpretations of this myth: Medea in the Pasolini’s and Seneca’s works, the staging of the Cherubini’s opera by Krzysztof Warlikowski, and Medea Stimmen of Christa Wolf.

David du film A.I. : un Pinocchio des temps modernes

This work aims to show that there are some similarities between the characters of Carlo Collodi’s fairy tale Pinocchio and Spielsberg’s film Artifical Intelligence. Indeed, the two protagonists are strange beings wishing to become real humans. However, this work also shows that David is a modern Pinocchio since he is an industrial product manufactured to be programmed. He will never become a human, neither will wake up in a human world.

L’acteur de cinéma : une figure de la destitution

This article aims to show that the actor is a figure of the dismissal. First, it highlights that the actor is dismissed from his sensitive being, his role as an interpreter, and his real personality. However, it insists that, at the same time, the actor has the power to dismiss the economical and mediatic system which makes him exist. The actress and star Marylin Monroe crystalizes that in her personal, professional, and public life.
