      <title>Être père sans l’être : Charlot dans Le Kid</title>
      <link>https://www.peren-revues.fr/revue-k/577</link>
<description>The Tramp, through his usual grace and clumsiness, unintentionally takes on the role of father, that someone else chose to abandon. He therefore gives us to see a way to be a father after, in Lacan’s words, “the evaporation of the father”, by tinkering with rather than overhanging the situation, by floating rather than slowing people and things, as well as by reinventing himself rather than sticking to an ideal. He also conveys to today’s spectators the image of their own malaise while comforting them. </description>
