Antigone messa a nudo dai suoi celibi ovvero pulsione di morte e politica della vita
DOI : 10.54563/revue-k.104
Résumé
The interpretation of Sophocles’ Antigone which can be found in Jacques Lacan’s Seminar on The Ethics of Psychoanalysis (1959-1960) clarifies the role of the death drive in Freudian metapsychology. Death drive is not the psychological counterpart of neither physical science (especially thermodynamics) or biological science. Rather, on the one hand Freudian Todestrieb reveals the historical dimension of human being, on the other hand it gives a new direction to human desire. This leads to important consequences concerning both ethics and politics.
