On autochthonous violence

This essay analyses the relationship between violence and sacrifice in the context of political agency, starting from its Neolithic origins of religious sacrifice on to the relationship between violence and state power in the modern era. In the view of the author, the contemporary relationship between violence and politics cannot be precisely analysed without taking into account the relationship between computer and internet technology and the libidinal economy of radicalization.
