Résumé

The aim of this paper is to bring to light some philosophical implications of Gustav Landauer's concept of Revolution. This concept is compared with Hermann's Cohen ethic ideal of “infinite task” and, on the other hand, with two brief critical sketches in which Walter Benjamin criticizes the Marburg school's approach. Landauer's ideas of “struggle” and “time” are also compared with Carl Schmitt's concept of “serious case (Erstfall)” and, lastly, with the paradigm of the perfect fight or “Macheus” theorized by Emanuel Lasker (the great chess player who also was a philosopher).
